ArtAffects leadership hails from a three-generation motion picture industry family. Founders Daniel and Margo Lange are Marketing MBAs with vast experience in domestic theatrical distribution of both major studio and art specialty films.

Margo Lange, in leading ArtAffects Entertainment with her husband Daniel, has consulted on numerous theatrical releases for over twenty years. Partnering with independent filmmakers and the associated marketing agencies on each release, her responsibilities span all aspects of theatrical distribution through the entire engagement, from the creation of the distribution strategy to the final Net Film Rent payments made to the filmmaker.
Daniel lange

Daniel Lange has an expansive film career, starting as a film programmer for General Cinema (AMC), followed by a decade at Disney Studios’ Buena Vista Pictures Distribution. After founding the Company in 2003, ArtAffects consulted for NewMarket Films on the release of the cultural phenomenon “The Passion of the Christ.” Daniel subsequently helped to build and lead high-profile indie studios: Picturehouse, Apparition, Film District, and Pure Flix. Over his tenure, Daniel has released hundreds of movies that have garnered nearly $11 billion at the U.S. box office. As ArtAffects’ General Sales Manager, Daniel spearheads all releases, including numerous behind-the-scenes “white label” projects.
Brandon lange
Director of Sales & Acquisitions
Brandon Lange started his career in Film Distribution at Pure Flix in 2017. Since then, he has consulted on over 25 US theatrical releases as well as several film acquisitions. Brandon attends international and domestic film festivals seeking potential acquisitions and develops relationships with filmmakers for movie projects suitable for ArtAffects’ release slate. Brandon graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL.
Kevin kahan
Director of Sales
Kevin Kahan has worked in Theatrical Distribution since 2018, building strong relationships with exhibitors and helping guide more than 20 films through their U.S. releases. Starting in group sales and collections, he advanced into sales management and director roles, where he continues to support releases with strategy and execution. Kevin graduated from the University of Iowa with degrees in Political Science and Entrepreneurial Management.
Kathryn Petty
Head of Strategic Business Alliances
Kathryn’s experience in strategic business alliances, coupled with her extensive network of myriad industry leaders and influencers, is the driving force behind selective film funding for ArtAffects releases. Kathryn combines tactical acumen and creative insight to secure corporate sponsorships in the US and abroad. Kathryn's education includes a Master of Arts in Corporate Communication from DePaul University in Chicago.
