Based on actual events, this is the story of Jean-Marie Vianney, a poor farm boy with a passion to become a priest. Through sheer will and the grace of God, he eventually became the pastor of the smallest parish in France – ARS. There he struggled against unbelievers, cynics, his own weaknesses, and by eye-witness accounts against the Devil himself, in order to bring love, hope and faith to his beloved parish.
Known for spending up to 16 hours a day in the confessional, he was there for anyone who came to seek his guidance. His Parish started at less than 300 people, but by the end of his life at age 73, over 100,000 people came yearly to benefit from his miraculous healings, spiritual advice, and life-changing revelations. To this day, his body has not decayed; earning him the name ‘Incorruptible’.
